Peppol.now in four languages: the comparison platform now speaks French and German too

The Hague, 4 September 2026 – Peppol.nu, the independent comparison platform for Peppol service providers, is now fully available in four languages. Alongside Dutch and English, the site is now completely translated into French and German. Peppol.now in four languages means more than a translated homepage: the comparison tool, the Peppol Address Book, the knowledge base and the supplier pages are all available in the visitor’s own language.

What has changed

Every visitor can choose between Dutch, English, French and German through the language switcher in the top right. That choice carries through the entire site: navigation, categories and the filters in the comparison tool all appear in the selected language. The Peppol Address Book, called “Le Carnet d’adresses Peppol” in French and “Peppol Adressbuch” in German, is now fully searchable by name or Peppol ID in those languages too. The more than 120 supplier profiles in the comparison tool are available in the selected language, wherever partners have supplied their profile in multiple languages.

Why now

The timing is not a coincidence. Since 1 September 2026, France has introduced the e-reporting obligation for foreign companies without a French establishment, alongside the existing e-invoicing mandate for companies established in France. Germany is rolling out its own B2B e-invoicing mandate in phases since 2025, with 2027 and 2028 as the next hard deadlines for the majority of businesses. For Dutch and Belgian entrepreneurs doing business with French or German customers, and for French and German companies looking for a Peppol service provider themselves, the information on Peppol.now was until now only available in Dutch or English. That changes with this release.

What this means for entrepreneurs and partners

For entrepreneurs doing business in France or Germany, or established there themselves, the comparison tool can now be searched in their own language, using the same independent criteria that already applied to the Dutch and English version: services, specialisations and certifications, with no commission and no obligation.

For Peppol.now’s partners, the expansion matters just as much. Service providers active in France or the DACH region gain visibility with an audience that was previously out of reach. Providers with a French PDP accreditation or specific German country tracks can now show those qualities in French and German too, to visitors searching in that language.

Using the new language versions

The language switcher sits in the top right of every page on Peppol.now. Any Peppol service provider that wants to be visible in French or German can raise this with their partner manager or through the partnership form.
