Compare Peppol service providers independently — Peppol.now

Peppol e-invoicing is expanding rapidly across Europe and beyond. Businesses looking for a Peppol service provider face a fragmented market: dozens of providers, each with their own terminology, pricing models and promises. Peppol.now offers clarity — an independent overview of reliable Peppol service providers, built without commercial interest in your choice.

Using the comparison tool on Peppol.now, you filter by your situation: software environment, invoice volume, target countries and business size. Every provider listed on this platform is officially connected to the Peppol network and transparent about its services. You compare on uniform criteria — not on advertising budget.

Peppol.now is built by Peppol specialists, serving businesses, financial managers, procurement officers and accountants seeking a well-founded choice for a Peppol service provider — regardless of where they are based.

The Peppol e-invoicing network is growing fast. Countries across Europe, Asia, and beyond are adopting Peppol or Peppol-compatible frameworks. With the EU's ViDA initiative, B2B e-invoicing will become mandatory across all EU member states by 2030. Choosing a future-proof Peppol service provider now puts your organisation ahead of this transition.

Peppol.now does not sell e-invoicing services and receives no commission on agreements between visitors and providers. After a visit, no follow-up contact is initiated. You decide when and whether to approach a provider. That is what an independent platform looks like.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about e-invoicing, implementations, compliance and our services

What is Peppol and why is it becoming mandatory?

+
Peppol is a European network for e-invoicing. More and more countries are making e-invoicing mandatory for B2B transactions to combat tax fraud and reduce administrative burdens. In the Netherlands, e-invoicing is mandatory for government contracts executed for the national government. Municipalities, provinces, and water boards are also increasingly mandating e-invoicing. In Belgium, the use of e-invoicing for government contracts is already legally mandatory. From 2026, it will become mandatory in Belgium for all business-to-business (B2B) transactions.

What do Peppol providers cost on average?

+
Costs vary significantly per provider and depend on factors such as volume and additional services that are purchased. Providers of Peppol e-invoicing solutions also use different pricing models. It is therefore very difficult to quote specific amounts, but roughly expect €50-500/month for small businesses and €500-2000/month for medium-sized businesses. Depending on which service or technology is purchased, there may be one-time setup costs of €500-5000.

How long does a Peppol implementation take?

+
This depends on your current systems and chosen provider. From a purely technical perspective, simple setups can take 1-2 weeks, while more complex integrations require 4-8 weeks. The challenge for lead time naturally lies in the availability of the right people at the involved organizations and any business-related processes such as decision-making, training, setting up management, etc. Through our expert advice, you get a realistic timeline for your specific situation.RetryS

Do I need technical knowledge to implement Peppol?

+
This depends on what you are going to purchase. When purchasing a Peppol invoice portal, you need little to no technical knowledge. For integration projects, you can hire implementation experts who often offer complete implementation services. Of course, you will still need someone from your own organization to coordinate with. Our experts help you through the entire process, from provider selection to technical implementation and aftercare.

Are you independent or do you receive commissions from providers?

+
We are fully transparent: providers pay listing fees to appear in our comparison, but no commissions for leads. We do receive a fee for a successful sale. Rankings are basically based on objective criteria. Partners can furthermore distinguish themselves by listing themselves as professional partner or premium partner.

What happens if I am not compliant before the deadline?

+
Depending on the laws and regulations of a specific country, non-compliance can lead to fines, problems with government contracts, and business partners who no longer accept your invoices. In Belgium, for example, it is expected that from January 1, 2026, fines will be imposed that vary from €50-2500 per violation. Therefore, start preparing in time.

Can I switch providers if I am not satisfied?

+
Yes, you can switch between Peppol providers, but this requires new technical integrations and transferring your Peppol ID to your new Peppol Service provider. This therefore has impact and a lead time. That's why it's important to choose the right provider immediately. With our comparison tool and our expert advice, we help you make a well-informed choice.

What is the difference between your free comparison and paid expert advice?

+
The comparison tool is free and shows all providers with their functionalities, features and certificates. Our Expert Advice is a paid service with personal consultation, customized provider selection based on your systems, and implementation guidance. Ideal for more complex organizations that want to be sure they are compliant within a certain time frame with certainty and can get started with their solution.
