OpenPeppol welcomes the Peppol Authority for France
On 8 July 2025, the French Ministry of Finance (DGFIP) established a Peppol Authority for France.
There are now 23 countries with Peppol Authorities, all of which are government organisations, responsible for driving the adoption of Peppol in their jurisdiction. The Peppol Network continues to expand globally as the value of the Peppol approach to eInvoicing and eReporting is increasingly recognised around the world. OpenPeppol now has members in 44 countries, with Peppol business documents being exchanged in 65 countries worldwide.
The establishment of the Peppol Authority by DGFIP followed a successful Proof of Concept and constructive engagement with the French authorities responsible for delivering the eInvoicing Reform programme.
Many thanks to all those who were involved in realising this successful outcome.
