Dynatos Duni EFF partnership connects Routty with finance outsourcing and international VAT
Kontich, 27 August 2026 – Dynatos and Duni EFF have entered into a strategic partnership covering e-invoicing and finance operations. The Dynatos Duni EFF partnership combines the Routty platform from Dynatos with the operational finance and VAT expertise of Duni EFF. The initial commercial focus is on Poland and the United Kingdom. Dynatos announced the collaboration in a press release on its own blog, dated 19 August 2026 in the blog listing.
What the Dynatos Duni EFF partnership involves
According to the press release, the aim of the collaboration is to help organisations translate changing e-invoicing requirements into connected, scalable processes. That phrasing touches on two things at once: the technical obligation to send invoices in the right format through the right channel, and the administrative aftermath in the form of filings, registrations and connections to local regimes.
The division of roles is recognisable from the announcement. Dynatos contributes Routty, the platform used to process and transmit document flows. Duni EFF contributes finance outsourcing and international VAT services. The announcement makes no mention of an acquisition or an equity stake; the parties present the arrangement as a strategic partnership.

Dynatos is the competence center for financial process optimisation (“Financial Process Optimization”) within the Cronos Group. The press release is datelined Kontich, Belgium, which is consistent with the Belgian home base of the wider Cronos organisation.
Duni EFF is a provider of finance outsourcing and international VAT services. That is a different type of supplier from an access point: where a service provider is responsible for transporting and validating documents, an outsourcing party focuses on the administrative processing and the tax obligations that follow.
Why an e-invoicing platform ties itself to VAT and outsourcing expertise
The choice of Poland and the United Kingdom as first focus markets is telling, and it probably explains the entire Dynatos Duni EFF partnership. In both markets, a platform on its own is not enough.
Poland operates KSeF, a centralised invoicing system managed by the tax administration. That means a supplier must not only establish a technical connection, but also deal with local registration obligations, authorisation models and filing processes that differ per company and per role. A foreign business invoicing into Poland therefore faces a tax question that is entirely separate from the question of which format travels over the wire.
The United Kingdom sits differently. There is no mandatory central model for B2B invoicing, but there is Making Tax Digital and a VAT regime that has followed its own course since the country left the European Union. A Dutch or Belgian organisation serving the UK therefore runs into registration and reporting obligations that do not follow from a Peppol connection. Here too, the administrative layer is the actual bottleneck, not the transmission.
That explains the logic behind this type of collaboration. As more countries choose their own model, the competitive field for a Peppol Service Provider shifts from pure connectivity towards the question of whether a client stays compliant across every country it operates in, through a single point of contact. Technical coverage has become the entry ticket rather than a differentiator. The combination of e-invoicing outsourcing and international VAT knowledge is the layer on which suppliers are now trying to distinguish themselves.
What it means for Dutch and Belgian organisations
For organisations in the Netherlands and Belgium the direct relevance is limited to those invoicing internationally, but for that group it is substantial. A few points are worth taking away:
- Scope of service. Anyone selecting a service provider today would do well to ask explicitly what is covered beyond transport. Registration in a country such as Poland, local filings and the management of VAT numbers usually fall outside an access point contract.
- Responsibility across the chain. Where two parties collaborate, the question of who is liable for what becomes pressing. It is sensible to record contractually which party carries the tax responsibility and which carries the technical one.
- Market movement. This announcement fits a broader consolidation trend in which platform vendors and tax service providers are moving towards each other. Over time that makes supplier comparison more complex, because the offering is harder to rank along a single axis.
For the Belgian market there is an additional layer of context. Belgium has grown into one of the most significant Peppol countries in the world, as we described earlier in our analysis of Peppol network growth in Belgium. An organisation based in Kontich that positions itself internationally is therefore operating from a home market with a high adoption rate and is, logically, looking for growth beyond its own borders.
