PINT & Internationale Uitbreiding
PINT (Peppol International Invoice Model) is een baanbrekende ontwikkeling die Peppol toegankelijk maakt voor landen buiten Europa. Gelanceerd in juli 2023, lost PINT de beperkingen op van BIS 3.0's EU-centrische benadering.
Waarom PINT Nodig Was
Peppol BIS 3.0 is gebaseerd op de Europese norm EN 16931, die EU-specifieke BTW-regels en terminologie afdwingt. Dit maakte het onmogelijk voor landen met GST, BTW-systemen of andere belastingstructuren om zich aan te sluiten bij het Peppol-netwerk zonder compromissen.

Toekomst: Convergentie naar BIS 4.0
OpenPeppol heeft aangekondigd dat PINT en BIS 3.0 zullen convergeren in Peppol BIS 4.0, verwacht eind 2025 of begin 2026. Deze nieuwe standaard combineert de wereldwijde flexibiliteit van PINT met de stabiliteit van BIS 3.0.
